Throne of Glass Spoiler Review

I wish what we had built up to as an epic battle was more epic. I mean, come on, she kind of failed and if the dead queen hadn't helped her, she would have lost. I just needed more assassin awesomeness. We barely got to see her be truly (I will keep using this word) awesome during training. Most of the time she was just hanging out in her rooms with her friends. There just wasn't tons of action and that bothered me.

Cain being the person killing the other Champions was so predictable. I was kind of hoping it would be Nehemia or Nox because that would be unexpected and punch the readers in the face. I also wish that Dorian or Chaol were put in some kind of danger and Celaena had to save them. That would be cool and epic and awesome (yes, I said it again).

I did really like Dorian. He was cool and I really didn't have any problems with him. Chaol, though, I wish he was more... I don't know, less cautious I guess. I think he and Celaena would have gotten together a lot sooner if he had just stopped thinking that only thing she thought about was how to kill him. I also don't like how Celaena broke up with Dorian, more specifically, why. Why not broke his heart in four years? Why now? You can still be free and date the Prince. I don't see how it's "inappropriate" that he King's Champion is dating the Prince. She is paying off a debt, it's not like she is still a slave in a way.

I know it sounds like I hated this book, but I didn't. I did quite enjoy it. I just wanted more from it. If you share my feelings or have feelings of your own you would like to share, comment down below!
