This is actually the BookTube Newbie Tag created by Brenda C., but I just changed it to work for a blog since I am a newbie to the blogging world! So, let's get started!
Why did you start your blog?
I started my blog because I really wanted to be able to talk to people about books. I love to read and know no one in real life who read the same books I do and like to talk about them. So, I started my blog so that I can talk to people who love to read as much as I do and to make new friends!
What are some fun and unique things you can bring to book blogging?
I don't really know an answer to this question. We are all unique and I like to think I'm fun, so I guess the answer to this question is myself.
What are you most excited about for this new blog?
I am most excited for making new friends! I love making friends and getting to know knew people!
Why do you love reading?
I love reading because it allows to you to live a million lives and experience so many things. If you don't read, you can only live one life. Books transport you to magical places that you cannot go otherwise. Reading provides you with a world better than your own.
What book or series got you into reading?
I would say the series that got me into reading is Percy Jackson and the Olympians. I was never into reading that much and had just read the Beautiful Creatures series. I hadn't read for a few months and my friend had started telling me in anyway possible to read the Percy Jackson books, which I did and fell in love with them. That series really rocketed me into the world of fiction and I will forever be grateful to Rick Riordan for writing that series. Without it, I wouldn't be the reader I am today.
What questions would you ask your favorite book bloggers?
I don't really have any favorite book bloggers. I have only been on two book blogs that I enjoy reading which are A Blonde Librarian and InToTheMindOfAReader. They are fairly new book bloggers as well, so I guess I would ask them how their experience is going.
What challenges do you think starting a blog will be the hardest to overcome?
I think that most challenging thing about starting a blog will be getting views. I do not currently have a Twitter, which is making it hard to get the word out. I have advertised on the groups I am apart of on Good Reads. If you have any tips, please leave them in the comments below.
